We are currently supporting a market-leading Swiss manufacturer in the herbal pharmaceuticals sector in their search for a Facility Engineer . With over 160 years of expertise, this company has grown from a small pharmacy into a leader in pharmaceuticals, managing the entire value chain from seed to finished product. Operating internationally with a strong scientific foundation, they are dedicated to producing high-quality, clinically proven herbal medicines.
The Role:
As Facility Engineer , you will be apart of the facility management function , ensuring the smooth operation of production infrastructure and compliance with GMP guidelines. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the technical and personal aspects of employees in technology and cleaning
- Coordinating repair, maintenance, and servicing of production facilities and infrastructure (ventilation, media, control systems, etc.)
- Leading technical projects , including new plant construction and control system upgrades
- Supporting safety officers and contributing to training initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with GMP guidelines and maintaining documentation
- Developing and updating technical specification documents
- Collaborating cross-functionally across all business areas
Your Profile:
- Higher vocational training in facility management, pharma, or food sector
- Mechanical engineering degree (preferred)
- Several years of experience in manufacturing, particularly in the pharmaceutical or F&B industries
- Strong project & quality management knowledge
- Excellent IT skills
- Organised, reliable, resilient, and independent
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in German and English (written & spoken)
