Global Key Account Manager in Jena

Overview

As Global Key Account Manager you will lead strategic, multinational relationships to grow revenue and share of wallet. You’ll serve as the primary commercial contact for key accounts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure service excellence and customer retention. You will drive opportunities, lead governance reviews, and shape long-term growth plans for strategic customers across regions. This role offers visibility, impact on global accounts, and the chance to influence service delivery and contract outcomes in a dynamic logistics environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to increase revenue, profitability, and share of wallet
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across customer organizations and act as the main point of contact globally
• Lead regular business reviews, performance discussions, and governance meetings
• Identify new business opportunities, cross-selling initiatives, and trade lane growth potential
• Coordinate with operations, product, and commercial teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Support contract negotiations, renewals, and service level compliance
• Monitor account performance through KPIs and reporting, driving continuous improvement initiatives

Zentrale Anforderungen

• 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or global account management
• Proven success managing complex multinational customer relationships
• Strong understanding of international logistics, including air, ocean, and customs operations
• Commercially driven mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders across regions
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
• Experience with CRM systems and performance reporting tools preferred
