We are looking for an Operations and Maintenance Manager in an FSRU based LNG import terminal in Wilhelmshaven. Brief responsibilities include overall management of O&M services at the LNG terminal, leading the organization’s resources, ensuring compliance of processes with German legal acts and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages activities of the organization, employs and dismisses staff.
- Signs organization’s financial statements and other internal and external documents.
- Represents the organization in relationship with client, authorities, corporate bodies and other third parties.
- Ensures safety, efficiency and integrity of LNG terminal operations, as defined by applicable rules, regulations, operational and HSEQ KPIs, including regasified natural gas delivery to German gas grid, process variables and auxiliary systems of the marine jetty – subsea PLEM and riser, mooring equipment, fire and gas detection, etc.
- Manages terminal maintenance activities, contractors, spare parts and consumables.
- Ensures compliance with contractual requirements and adherence to O&M plans.
- Prepares and controls annual budget, ensures delivery of the set goals.
- Implements organization’s policies and procedures.
- Seeks continuous improvements and operational excellence in organization’s activities.
- Provides response at the LNG terminal during abnormal and emergency situations.
EXPECTED QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATES AND EXPERIENCE:
- Technical degree in engineering or other technical-oriented discipline.
- 5 years+ of experience in operations and maintenance in oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation or other production company or logistics/transport sector (experience in LNG industry would be considered as an advantage).
- 3 years+ of team management experience (as the manager of a company or technical department) within the relevant industry.
- Strong knowledge of technical regulations and standards of energy sector.
- Fluency (B2 or higher) in English and German.
- Driver’s license.
