We have a current opportunity for a PLC Automation Engineer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in (Location). For further information about this position, please apply.
Job Responsibilities:
- You develop, simulate, and test the software for complex machines – from drive and control technology to visualization and interfaces with higher-level systems.
- You will play a key role in advancing machine software. Your contributions will directly impact both mechanical and electrical design, as you develop customer-specific solutions from initial concept through to final documentation.
- You’ll act as a technical contact, managing service inquiries and providing support to our assembly department. This includes both internal and external assistance during commissioning and complex retrofits.
Job Requirements:
- You have a technical background in electrical engineering, automation, systems engineering, or mechatronics. Additional training at the HF level is a plus.
- Ideally, you have experience in programming B&R systems.
- You enjoy using your strong English and German skills in your daily work.
- You are willing to spend approximately 10% of your working time traveling abroad.
- You approach tasks analytically, logically, and goal-oriented.
