Overview
As Maintenance Manager you will lead a 10-person maintenance team in a regulated consumer-products facility, driving reliability and uptime for production assets. You will implement preventive and predictive maintenance, manage CAPEX-supporting projects, and foster a TPM culture to reduce downtime and improve asset performance. Collaborating with Production, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain, you’ll align maintenance goals with site safety, quality and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and develop a team of 10 maintenance technicians and engineers
- Maximise equipment availability across production and utility assets
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for reliability, efficiency and cost reduction
- Establish preventive and predictive maintenance programmes
- Optimise spare parts management and maintenance planning
- Reduce unplanned downtime via robust root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support the development of a TPM culture at the site
- Manage external contractors, service providers and equipment manufacturers
- Lead and support CAPEX projects including upgrades, expansions and new installations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and improve maintenance KPIs, budgets and resource allocation
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to support operational goals
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or equivalent
- Proven background in mechanical maintenance in manufacturing
- Min 5 years maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/manager role
- Experience in cosmetics, pharma, food & beverage, FMCG or other regulated environments desired
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering, preventive maintenance and asset management
- Experience implementing maintenance improvement initiatives and reducing downtime
- Demonstrated leadership and team development ability
- Hands-on with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with CMMS and MS Office applications
- Fluent German and professional English advantageous
