Due to continued growth and increasing operational complexity, they are seeking an experienced Senior Inventory Manager to take ownership of inventory accuracy, stock integrity and inventory-related process excellence within a large-scale logistics operation.
This is a highly visible role offering significant autonomy, direct customer interaction and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations, systems and inventory processes.
Your Responsibilities Inventory Management & Stock Accuracy Ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records.
Develop and implement sustainable inventory control standards.
Drive initiatives to improve stock accuracy and reduce inventory discrepancies.
Monitor inventory KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
Reconciliation & Root Cause Analysis Lead inventory investigations and discrepancy resolution activities.
Conduct detailed root cause analyses across inventory and operational processes.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure long-term inventory integrity.
Collaborate with operational teams to eliminate recurring issues.
Inventory Processes & Continuous Improvement Manage cycle count programmes and annual physical inventory activities.
Optimise inventory workflows, stock movements and system transactions.
Improve inventory-related processes through data-driven decision making.
Support quality and operational excellence initiatives across the site.
Systems & Reporting Act as the subject matter expert for inventory-related processes and systems.
Work closely with warehouse management, IT teams and customer stakeholders.
Generate performance reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Translate complex inventory data into practical business recommendations.
Stakeholder & Customer Management Serve as the main point of contact for inventory-related topics.
Participate in customer meetings and business reviews.
Communicate inventory performance, risks and improvement initiatives in a professional manner.
Build strong relationships across operational, commercial and management functions.
Your Profile Several years of experience in Inventory Management, Inventory Control or Stock Management.
Experience within logistics, warehousing, supply chain or distribution environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience conducting inventory reconciliations and root cause analyses.
High level of systems affinity and ability to quickly learn new applications.
Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems, ideally SAP-based environments.
Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluent English is required.
Additional European language skills are considered an advantage.
