Overview
In this role you will contribute to savory flavor applications by creating prototypes and supporting sensory evaluation in our labs and kitchens. You will work closely with flavor experts and internal partners to develop bases and concepts that showcase our flavors and technologies. You will participate in global meetings and drive small-scale innovation launches within a collaborative team. This is a hands-on, early-career role designed to build technical, creative and collaborative skills toward becoming a technologist. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Coordinate and support flavor applications and technical activities across savory projects to aid innovation launches
- Support defined technical projects and formulations, developing savory application bases and prototype concepts
- Participate in savory formulation work across savory applications
- Apply technical knowledge of flavors, ingredients, formulations and savory processes with internal partners
- Support sensory tastings and sample preparation, and clearly record data, recipes and observations
- Attend global customer meetings and technical discussions in partnership with sales and senior technical colleagues
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering or related scientific discipline
- 1–3 years of relevant industry experience
- Fluent in English (French is an asset)
- Experience supporting savory or flavor applications; exposure to savory preferred but not required
- Demonstrated formulation skills in food systems and ability to troubleshoot formulations with team guidance
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with experience supporting multiple projects
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams
