Handling customs processes for our customers has long been part of our business, but to support our growth strategy, we aim to better meet our large customers’ needs in Customs brokerage.Your team will work closely with IT product development, customs operations, and business stakeholders to adapt solutions to business needs and requirements.Customer focus and delivering value require teamwork and collaboration across all DSV countries. It involves engaging with customers to enhance their supply chains.You will communicate with large customers and colleagues worldwide, ensuring they receive the contracted services. Working alongside senior staff in our global commercial organization, you will drive continuous improvement and innovation in our Customs marketing functions, supporting operational excellence and adding value to our customers’ supply chains.This role is customer-facing and involves high interaction with internal stakeholders, including:Advising on the commercial strategy for Customs services for large clientsDesigning the global commercial product and service catalog for CustomsParticipating in RFI and RFQ processes related to Customs capabilitiesConducting review meetings with customers to follow up on KPIs, performance, and improvement pointsCollaborating with global Customs operations to ensure operational excellence worldwideDriving continuous improvement and performance management, involving relevant Group functions and country stakeholders, sometimes leading or participating in improvement projectsProfile Required:A logistics background with a flair for customer interaction, ideally with experience in customs operations, sales, or consultancy in a customer-facing role. You should have a degree in logistics, business, transport, or shipping, and familiarity with operational customs logistics.Additionally, you:Are comfortable participating in customer meetings, virtual calls, and presentationsThrive working on multiple tasks without losing customer focusHave experience with TMS, customs declaration platforms, and proficiency in Excel and MS OfficeUnderstand the commercial relevance of global and regional trade lanesAre familiar with worldwide customs processes and global tradeAre comfortable working directly with customs authorities and trade associationsYou will work at our local DSV location in your country, with opportunities for international travel.Interested to learn more and apply?We welcome your questions about the position and your options at DSV.
