About the Role – At duagon we focus on highly regulated markets and our customers expect bleeding-edge technology of the highest quality supporting the typically long lifecycles. As a Software Product Manager, you will have the opportunity to guide the development of our Embedded Linux software stack, shaping innovative solutions that meet the critical needs of our customers.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Embedded Linux software stack, including mainline and LTS Linux decisions.
- Develop and maintain a detailed roadmap aligned with customer feedback, market needs, and business objectives.
- Actively engage with customers to gather insights, understand pain points, and ensure their needs are addressed in the product offering.
- Conduct regular analyses to identify opportunities and threats, ensuring the roadmap remains competitive.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of features.
- Ensure products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a pertinent technical discipline. Equivalent hands-on experience is also highly valued.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in software product management.
- Strong understanding of Embedded Linux, the open-source community, mainline upstream/downstream decisions, and LTS strategy.
- Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that exceed their expectations.
