- You will lead privacy engineering initiatives across DuckDuckGo's products, including agentic browsing and private search.
- You will own high-complexity privacy projects from definition to delivery, evolving our privacy review processes.
- You will build automation to reduce toil and mentor the next generation of privacy engineers.
What You'll Do
- Design technical solutions for private search index capabilities with strict privacy guarantees.
- Build infrastructure tools and data minimization systems to preserve user trust.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate privacy principles into practical engineering decisions.
Who You Are
- You have 10+ years of experience leading privacy programs at consumer-facing companies with large user bases.
- You have 4+ years of privacy engineering leadership, building privacy-preserving technical solutions.
- You have director-level experience with direct management and a track record of improving organizational processes.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of $243,800 USD plus stock options.
