Your opportunity
This isn’t a typical 9–5 job. As a self-employed financial advisor, you build your own client base and your own business, supported by DVAG’s training, tools and product partners. You can start part-time alongside your current job and grow at your own pace.
What you’ll do
- Build and grow a portfolio of private and business clients
- Carry out in-depth financial consultations and develop tailored plans
- Advise on pensions, insurance, investments and wealth building
- Build long-term client relationships based on trust
- Keep developing your knowledge of financial markets and products
- Set your own goals, working hours and pace as an independent business owner
What we’re looking for
- Fluent or near-native English (German is a plus but not required to start; some later exams are in German)
- An entrepreneurial, self-motivated mindset
- No previous finance experience needed. We provide full training to prepare you for the IHK qualification and registration.
- Strong communication and people skills
- Commitment to meeting compliance requirements under German law
What we offer
Performance-based income: this is a commission based role. You earn:
- Initial commissions when you put new plans in place for clients
- Ongoing portfolio and service commissions for looking after your clients
- Incentives and bonuses for strong performance
- Your income grows with your client base, with no cap.

Independence with support: you choose your hours and goals, backed by DVAG’s tools, systems and market position
