Job Description:
As a Deskside Support engineer, you will be tasked with monitoring and maintaining an organisation’s computer systems and hardware. You will be responsible for diagnosing any hardware or software faults with the systems and will solve the issues either in person or remotely.
This role covers multiple clients and sites, so Driving licence and vehicle are a mandatory requirement.
Role Requirements:
- Good IT working experience in an ITIL environment at least 3-5 years
- Detail oriented and highly organised
- Accredited education in Information Technologies, qualified IT Specialist or equal
- Experience in IT support for current Microsoft, Apple and Android hardware and operating systems
- Good knowledge of ticket systems and Support processes/ Service Now Platform
IT Technical skills:
- Device operations and maintenance of Desktop PCs, Notebooks, Smartphones, Monitors IT Support
- 2nd Level Office/Mobile Support
- Server Hands on, Server Backup, Demo/Meeting/Training Rooms, Video Conferring, Printer Services
- PC Imaging & Installation procedures, Intune/Autopilot/JAMF
- Good Asset management skills
- Good Working knowledge of Apple and Microsoft Technology and current Standard Office 365 Suite/ Azure AD
- Network Hands on, Network Technologies & Administration (AD/DNS/WINS) for WAN/LAN/WLAN
Soft Skills:
- High customer service orientation
