At E-Frontiers we\’re on the lookout for an Onsite Technical Support Engineer to join a growing global IT company based in several European and American regions, with heardquarters in Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main technical contact for the client, providing on-site support for options trading systems.
- Monitor system performance, apply updates, and make configuration changes to ensure smooth operation.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, escalating complex problems when needed.
- Respond to incidents and client requests, following processes and documenting resolutions.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and provide technical advice.
- Collaborate with the development team on system upgrades, testing, and deployment.
- Train client staff on systems and share knowledge to improve practices.
What you need to succeed:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Endpoint Management, Device Deployment, and AV troubleshooting.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry, providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyse complex technical issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build client relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Client-focused mindset, with the ability to understand requirements, provide exceptional service, and anticipate client needs.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
