The role administers the local supply chain resources and is accountable for results in the domain of delivery performance (NSOTP, OTTR, OTD), inventory accuracy and freight. A key responsibility is to ensure the successful execution of the aligned supply plan and master production schedule of the plan, in alignment with the Network Planning Organization and the local key stakeholder.The Material Handling Lead & Inventory Accuracy lead administers the MRO purchasing function according to SCM standards, ad-hering to accounting and purchasing Principles and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. The incumbent drives improvement in local SCM function/processes, ensuring compliance with corporate, divisional, and local practices and procedures. The role will be a key stake-holder in ensuring proper MRP and ERP discipline, using the tool and processes advised and establishing a culture of compliance and adoption to and of new processes in a changing environment.Operations and Continuous improvement:• Accountable for results in inventory accuracy (support DOH), freight and support in delivery performance (NSOTP, OTTR, OTD)• Ensuring successful material delivery from warehouse to production floor as per aligned supply plan and master production schedule• Administering the MRO purchasing function according to SCM standards• Ensuring proper MRP and ERP discipline- Collaboration with associated SCM functions in Central Supply Chain- Drive alignment with key operational stakeholders: Plant and Operations Management, along with all other relevant functions• Leverage Eaton Continuous Improvement practices to drive improvement in local SCM function/processes• Lead warehouse and logistics optimization projects in collaboration with GPO and various internal entities.Building Organizational Capability:• Management of local SCM material handling personnel and driving SCM activities• Ensuring compliance with corporate, divisional, and local practices and procedures• Create standard practices across the plants and clear development plans for the teams and develop learning organizationAudit Readiness:• Lead annual inventory counts (W2W) and regular cycle count process• Supporting the OPS and SCM related audits within the span of control and driving OpA maturityChange Management:• Establishing a culture of compliance and adoption of new processes in a changing environmentQualifications:• Technical Education, Bachelor's Degree or equivalentSkills:• Comprehensive relevant experience• SAP• Logistics Management, Plant operations, purchasing, warehouse and logistics operations• CI Mindset, Ambassador of change, Inspiring leader of people• High levels of accountabilityWe Offer:Competitive compensation and benefits packageChallenging projects in dynamic collaborative teamWe make your aspirations matter – Eaton encourages internal promotion, whenever possibleWe make your growth matter - We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton UniversityWe make your contributions matter - reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the core of our dedication to improving people’s lives and the environment through power management technologiesWe make your wellbeing matter – We put your health and safety first.
