About the Role
We are seeking a Requirements Engineer to take ownership of gathering, defining, and managing stakeholder requirements throughout the lifecycle of our projects. In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure that stakeholder needs are captured, validated, and met, thereby contributing to the success of our next-gen automotive solutions.
What You Will Do
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on requirements engineering.
• Define, tailor, and implement requirements engineering processes and tools based on specific project needs.
• Lead requirements elicitation from the RFI/RFQ stage through to project completion.
• Develop and maintain requirements specification baselines, ensuring accurate traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and support change requests, and conduct technical analysis with the engineering team.
• Promote design reuse by identifying synergies and fostering the development of reusable requirements.
What You Need
• Extensive experience in requirements engineering and the use of relevant tools.
• Strong knowledge of embedded software and systems, particularly in the areas of infotainment or cockpits.
• Familiarity with software and hardware architectures (e.g., SoC, MCU, Android, Linux).
• Minimum of five years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least three years in requirements engineering.
• Fluency in both German and English is required.
