Your contribution to success

• Technical management and further development of analytical instruments for measuring and determining radioactivity
• Conceptualization, design, prototype fabrication, testing, and evaluation of detector systems for quality control and the release of radioactive preparations and pharmaceuticals in radiopharmacy
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with the fields of radiochemistry, electrical engineering, software development, and mechanical design
• Evaluation and selection of detector materials and components (scintillators, semiconductor detectors, photosensors) in terms of efficiency, resolution, and background performance, as well as optimization of measurement geometries and sample preparation
• Leading and coordinating development projects in international and interdisciplinary teams
• Providing technical support to product management, application specialists, and customer service, as well as presenting results to customers and the sales team

This qualifies you

• Successfully completed degree in the natural sciences, preferably in physics, electrical engineering, chemistry or a comparable field
• Profound knowledge and experience in detector technology, radioactivity measurements, and the evaluation of metrological performance parameters
• Experience in project management and project leadership
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English (minimum C1 level)
• Analytical mindset and decisiveness
• Structured, goal-oriented, and independent work style
• Good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
