ppEco Caminhos is a self-sustaining ecological farm located in the Atlantic Forest mountains near Nova Friburgo, Brazil. /p pWe host an international community where people can experience a simpler and more conscious way of living, away from the pressures of urban life. /p pOur daily activities are based on permaculture principles and include agroforestry, natural building (bioconstruction), food production and renewable energy systems. Learning happens mainly through hands‑on participation, collaboration and community routines. /p pBeyond work activities, community life is an essential part of the experience. Participants share meals, cultural exchange, language learning, and outdoor experiences such as hiking and visiting waterfalls. We are looking for passionate volunteers to join us for 1 to 12 weeks to help us grow and build a better world. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 pAs a volunteer, you can choose to focus on one or both of our main projects. /p ul liAgroforestry – Help us cultivate abundant, organic produce while regenerating the land. Our current focus is on integrating shade‑grown coffee into our diverse agroforestry systems. You will get hands‑on experience in sustainable agriculture and land management. /li liNatural Building (Bioconstruction) – Participate in the construction of beautiful, eco‑friendly homes that work in harmony with nature. We utilize natural and local materials to create energy‑efficient buildings with integrated waste‑management systems.
