- 11:00 to 13:45 - 15:00 to 18:00(Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)
Our bilingual private school (French–English) La Découverte, located in Mies, welcomes children in a stimulating, demanding and caring environment. We place as much importance on academic learning as on the development of social, emotional and relational skills.
To complete our educational team, we are looking for an after-school collaborator who shares these values and wishes to contribute to providing children with a safe, warm and conducive environment for their development.
Your mission
As part of the educational team, you actively participate in the daily life of the school.
You will notably be required to:
- welcome children with availability and kindness; - support meals and transition times; - propose and lead playful, creative, sporting or outdoor activities suitable for the children’s ages; - promote autonomy, cooperation and respect for everyone; - ensure the physical and emotional well-being and safety of the pupils; - contribute to a calm and positive atmosphere; - work closely with the teaching team and management.
Your profile
You are a person who is:
- warm, dynamic and reliable; - able to set clear boundaries with kindness; - appreciative of teamwork and constructive communication; - comfortable managing a group of children; - creative, proactive and able to take initiative; - sensitive to the development of children’s socio-emotional skills.
Experience with primary school-aged children is necessary.
Training in childhood, animation, education or social fields is required.
Knowledge of English is appreciated in the bilingual context of our establishment.
