The EPFL campus offers an exceptional working environment at the heart of a community of more than 18,500 people, including over 14,000 students and 4,000 researchers from more than 120 different countries. /ph3bMission /b /h3pThe Laboratory of Dr. Douglas Hanahan, at the Swiss Institute for Experimental Cancer Research (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), is seeking a highly motivated laboratory technician with a strong background in molecular and cell biology and experience working with genetically modified mouse models. The laboratory, and therefore the position, is based at the AGORA Cancer Research Center in Lausanne, a multidisciplinary research environment dedicated to advancing cancer research. The successful candidate will work closely with a postdoctoral fellow on projects in tumor immunology spanning cancer vaccines and the fundamental biology of glioblastoma. /ppWe are looking for a proactive, organized, and motivated individual who enjoys working independently while collaborating closely with others. The ideal candidate is comfortable organizing daily experimental work from agreed project priorities, takes initiative in troubleshooting technical challenges, asks questions when needed, communicates openly, and maintains thorough experimental records.
