Responsibilities

  • Our software sits at the core of the company, and you’ll own a meaningful part of it
  • As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll set direction for your product area, drive the roadmap end to end, and partner closely with Tech and Design to ship products our customers need and love
  • You’ll build deep conviction about the energy market and our customers, and translate that into bets that move the business. Your work is what lets ecoplanet keep scaling
  • Within your first 3–6 months, you will:
  • Build deep customer and market conviction: develop a sharp understanding of how the German energy market works and what matters most to our customers — and form your own point of view on where the biggest opportunities are
  • Take full ownership of a product area: drive your area’s roadmap and outcomes, working directly with Tech and Design and making the calls that keep things moving
  • Ship meaningful improvements to the core product: identify the highest-leverage gaps in what we have today and close them
  • Lead a new product from idea to production: define, scope, and deliver a new product or major capability together with the Product team — and own the outcome
  • This is a senior, high-ownership role from day one. As you prove yourself, you’ll have the opportunity to broaden your scope — owning more of the product, shaping strategy, and growing toward principal-level or product leadership

Qualifications

Great at solving a wide range of hard problems, with an entrepreneurial mindset5+ years in product, with a track record of shipping products that drove real business outcomes — not just featuresYou’ve worked in B2B SaaS and understand deeply how the model works and what makes a software business tickSolid technical fluency: you can hold your own with engineers and make sound trade-off callsYou experiment with different AI tools and know how to use them effectivelyExperience in the energy market is a plusComfortable managing many stakeholders and shifting priorities — and bringing them along with youA proactive, structured way of working and a strong sense of ownership and responsibilityA clear communicator in both German (C2 required) and English (C1 required)You’ve built data products — products where the data, and the insights drawn from it, are the value, not a side featureYou run strong discovery and delivery: you know how to find the right problems, validate them, and ship the solution
