People are what make a company. They all bring different ideas, experiences, and skills to the table. We value and nurture both professional expertise and the individual in all their facets. Because together, we make Ecovis better—better for us and better for our clients. We’re looking for you—full-time or part-time—to join our central Firm and Corporate Development department at our Chemnitz or Munich locations as Manager of AI-Driven Process Optimization and Automation (m/f/d) Your Responsibilities Portfolio and Prioritization You will coordinate our company-wide AI and automation portfolio—from improvements that can be implemented quickly to strategic pilot projects. You will structure requirements from the business units and prioritize them based on benefit, feasibility, risk, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Use Cases and Process Optimization Together with the business units, you identify use cases and assess where AI, rule-based automation, or both deliver the greatest value. You formulate requirements, target scenarios, and success criteria, and evaluate solutions together with IT—with a focus on real-world benefits in client engagements and day-to-day work. Piloting and Scaling You will independently lead pilot projects from conception through evaluation and measure time savings, quality, acceptance, and error rates. You will prepare recommendations for further development or termination and roll out successful solutions to other law firms and business units. Empowerment and Change You develop guidelines and training programs to ensure that colleagues use AI safely, effectively, and responsibly. You will build a network of advocates and promote a realistic, solution-oriented AI culture. Governance and Risk You take data protection, client confidentiality, information security, and the EU AI Act into account right from the design phase—in collaboration with data protection, IT security, and compliance teams. You coordinate technical approvals, document risks and responsibilities in a transparent manner, and provide support for monitoring. Market and Technology You monitor developments in AI and automation, evaluate them from a technical and business perspective, and maintain dialogue with expert committees, consulting firms, and technology providers. You and IT—clear roles, one goal You are responsible for: What problem are we solving, who benefits, and how do we measure success? IT works with you to determine: How do we operate the solution securely, stably, in a way that’s integrable, and cost-effectively? Together, you’ll decide on feasibility, platforms, data access, security, and the transition to regular operations. What You Bring to the Table A college degree, e.g., in business, law, organizational studies, computer science, or process management—or several years of relevant professional experience At least three years of experience in process coordination and optimization, product management, or project management Experience managing projects, pilot programs, or change initiatives Solid understanding of current AI technologies, their applications, and limitations A structured, pragmatic approach to work and confident communication with business units, executives, and technical teams Very good German and good English skills It’s a plus if you… Have experience in the fields of AI, data, or digital transformation and are familiar with typical use cases such as document processing, knowledge assistance, or research support Are knowledgeable about data protection, information security, and responsible AI—or are eager to expand this knowledge What Ecovis Offers You Creative freedom with support: You’ll build something new—with a team that’s on board and open doors all the way up to senior management. Stability and change: over 100 years of experience and a strong network—and the courage to try new things.
