Overview
In this role you will design, integrate, and deploy Forescout-based Network Access Control to support the DoD DoDIN environment for a US Army–focused managed service. You will work on-site in Wiesbaden with possible remote support, and occasional deployments at Army bases. You’ll contribute to a healthy security posture by implementing Comply-To-Connect across multiple networks, coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders. The position is hands-on, requiring multi-tasking and strong problem-solving as you drive stability, performance, and compliance. This is a mission-critical role where your expertise helps secure enterprise networks at scale.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Provide engineering support for Comply to Connect on multiple DoD networks and classification domains
- Establish and maintain network analysis and monitoring tools with health reporting and alerting
- Recommend improvements for stability, availability, reliability and performance of networking infrastructure
- Resolve complex networking and technology issues with multiple parties
- Develop process and architecture diagrams
- Identify and remediate DISA STIG findings
- Prepare program status reports and briefings for management and oversight
- Understand enterprise computing environments and TCP/IP networks including ASA, Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco/Juniper/Brocade switches
- Demonstrate advanced OS knowledge and cross-platform administration when needed
- Capably communicate issues, status, and recommendations up and down the org chart
- Maintain system configurations and related documentation
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 6+ years of DoD environment experience
- Forescout Certified Engineer (FSCE)
- Experience with Network Access Controls
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize requirements
- Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Networking/telecom or application development experience
- Understanding of IT industry security standards and secure network environments
- Ability to gain interim secret clearance or hold secret clearance
- US citizen and DoD 8570 IAT II
- Experience with development lifecycles (analysis through implementation)
- Experience with configuring and documenting large-scale networks
- Knowledge of programming languages: C, Java, Perl
- Hands-on, service-oriented mindset and ability to work in a team
