In 2024, Edge Workspaces is opening a brand-new location in Hamburg. We are bringing our healthy, sustainable co-working concept to one of the biggest port cities in Europe. With a variety in office space sizes, the building will offer a nice dynamic regarding businesses, industries, and organization sizes.

For this new location, we are looking for a Location Manager who is a strong communicator and knows how to multi-task. Ideally, you have some experience in project management. During the first months after opening, there might be some minor construction work still going on, which makes it important to stay in contact with contractors and suppliers to prevent troublesome situations.

Meanwhile, your new team is joining our organization shortly after and needs guidance during their first weeks in our organization. You know how to motivate and guide a new team, connect with members, and deliver a service while maintaining the highest level of hospitality. With your interpersonal skills, you enable your team to get the best out of themselves and deliver a collaborative and joyful environment through maintaining the highest level of hospitality. You are the main point of contact for our operating partners, such as maintenance, cleaning, and catering organizations.

The team you will be leading is ambitious, energetic, hospitable, empathetic, and they strive for service excellence. Responsibilities:

  • Main responsibility of this role is to enable a smooth transition from the development phase to the operational phase.
  • Giving members the best possible experience in every interaction.
  • Connecting people, setting up interactions, and cross-company collaborations.
  • Motivating, mentoring, and stimulating team members.
  • Welcoming members and guests.
  • Keep track of ongoing construction and/or installation works and inform other parties involved accordingly.
  • Day-to-day contact and recurring meetings with our operating partners.
  • Making sure our building is well maintained.
  • Dealing with complaints.
  • Supervising and supporting the community team.
  • Encouraging healthy lifestyle and sport activities.
  • Positive and inspiring attitude.
  • Hands-on, pro-active approach to work.
  • Project management.
  • Sense of responsibility and a problem-solving approach to complaints.
  • Resilience, combining a need for challenge with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations.
  • Collaborative, yet independent, work attitude.
  • Great communicator, both in writing and in personal conversations.
  • Experience in hospitality, community management, and/or facility management.
