Senior Accountant

LHH is recruiting a „Senior Compliance Cryptocurrency Officer“ for a dynamic and entrepreneurial private bank. Responsibilities :

• Leverage your expertise in blockchain technology and investigative skills to trace digital footprints, analyze data, and reconstruct event sequences to validate client activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Compliance, Digital Assets, and Relationship Managers to provide detailed reports supporting clients‘ compliance efforts.
• Apply various investigative tools and methods to monitor and analyze clients‘ blockchain activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and generating necessary documentation.
• Review clients‘ blockchain projects and wallet activities to assess compliance risks.
• Connect digital evidence with clients‘ narratives to enhance KYC procedures and assist clients in meeting regulatory requirements for account openings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners to access new attribution sources and stay ahead of emerging compliance challenges.
• Independently drive investigations, thinking critically and strategically, while producing detailed and accurate findings.
• Manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while working autonomously and meeting tight deadlines.

Profile :

• Proven experience in cryptocurrency compliance, with a strong understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and financial regulations.
• Technical expertise in tracking blockchain activities and wallet transactions.
• Proficiency with a range of investigative tools to analyze digital evidence and uncover links between wallets, entities, and individuals.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, able to drive investigations to conclusion.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
• Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a proactive, results-driven approach.
• Passion for blockchain technology and a keen interest in staying updated with industry trends and compliance standards.
