As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role within our dynamic Information Technology team. Working alongside a diverse group of engineers based in Geneva, you will also liaise with colleagues across our global operations in over 30 countries. Reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure
Design & Solutions, your primary focus will be on the design, implementation, and support of our global network services.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, and manage robust global network architectures to support our business operations and strategic objectives.
Provide advanced technical support to our Operations team, troubleshooting complex network issues and ensuring optimal network performance.
Lead or actively participate in key IT network projects, contributing your technical expertise and project management skills.
Drive a continuous improvement process by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards, thereby ensuring network reliability and efficiency.
Collaborate with external suppliers such as integrators and telecommunications providers, managing these relationships to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills and experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience in network engineering.
A minimum of 7 years in a senior Network Engineering role within a global IT infrastructure environment.
Expert knowledge of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting across LAN, MAN, and WAN environments.
Proven experience with Cloud Technology.
Expertise in Firewall technologies such as Fortinet and Checkpoint.
Familiarity with Voice (Cisco) and voice recording technologies (ASC).
Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage relationships across different teams.
Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken).
