Overview
In this role, you will be a pivotal partner in the private banking risk and control framework, supporting front-line teams to ensure onboarding, lifecycle management and transactions meet internal standards and regulatory expectations. You will advise on complex, high-risk situations, provide independent challenge, and strengthen the first line of defence across the platform. You will collaborate with CROs and senior management, sharing market knowledge and driving robust risk controls. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Support Client Relationship Officers in identifying and mitigating day-to-day risks
- Coordinate control activities aligned to Global Private Banking Control Blueprint and local regulations
- Perform due diligence on prospective and existing clients
- Approve transfers, credit, overrides and sanctions-related transactions
- Distribute market knowledge and best practices to frontline staff
- Build relationships with Senior Management and CROs
- Deputize the HOPBS, review complex cases, and present to senior stakeholders
- Act as main CRO contact for complex and high-risk cases
- Be FLOD SPOC and gatekeeper for PEP classification/declassification
- Ensure timely remediation of pending follow-ups in client lifecycle activities
- Approve new accounts and introducers, oversee KYC lifecycle and periodic reviews
- Bridge FLOD and SLOD communications and escalation paths
- Review Dubai PBS team account openings and periodic reviews, guiding independent reviews
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Economics or related field
- Minimum 5 years of Compliance or Audit experience in account openings, reviews and transaction monitoring
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills, including handling contentious issues
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, flexible and multitask
- Excellent written and spoken English; French and German are a plus
