Job Description We are looking to onboard a manager with 10–15 years of experience within private banking and wealth management institutions. The objective is for them to join the Transformation Office as a Senior member and to drive strategic, operational, and digital transformation initiatives tailored to the specific culture, risk profile, and client‑centric model EFG. MBA‑qualified would be a plus, with strong execution capabilities and deep understanding of front‑to‑back private banking operations.
Main responsibilities Enterprise & Strategic Transformation
Drive bank‑wide transformation initiatives aligned with the long‑term strategy of EFG.
Translate strategic priorities (growth, efficiency, client experience) into concrete transformation roadmaps.
Support Executive Committee members in strategy execution and transformation governance.
Prepare decision material for senior management and board‑level discussions.
Operating Model & Process Excellence
Design and implement target operating models adapted to a relationship‑driven private banking environment.
Support optimization of front‑to‑back processes across
Client Relationship Management and Client Advisory
Investment Services and Portfolio Management
Operations and Middle Office
Lead cost‑efficiency and productivity initiatives while preserving service quality and client experience.
Digital & Data Transformation
Lead business‑driven digital initiatives including
CRM and client lifecycle management
Advisory and portfolio management tools
Process automation (workflow digitization, RPA, AI use cases)
Act as a bridge between business, IT, and data teams to ensure adoption and value realization.
Promote data‑driven management through dashboards, KPIs, and management information.
Regulatory & Risk-Driven Change
Manage transformation initiatives related to FINMA regulation, AML/KYC, suitability, cross‑border rules.
Ensure regulatory changes are embedded pragmatically into business processes.
Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Internal Audit.
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as an internal change leader and sparring partner for senior executives and department heads.
Drive change management: communication, training, and adoption across the organization.
Manage resistance to change in a traditional private banking culture.
Program & Delivery Management
Own end‑to‑end delivery of transformation initiatives
Governance, milestones, KPIs, and benefits realization
Budget and resource management
Risk, dependency, and issue management
Coordinate internal teams and selectively manage external consultants and vendors.

Pure Private Banking Expertise, with hands‑on understanding of
Relationship‑based private banking business model
Investment products and services
UHNW/HNW client expectations
Strong sensitivity to confidentiality, risk culture, and reputational consideration
Transformation & Execution
Enterprise and functional transformation
Operating model design
Business case development and benefits tracking
Program and portfolio management
Digital & Analytical Skills
Ability to translate technology into business value
CRM platforms, front‑office / investment applications and private banking core systems

Experience & Background
Background / profile: Chief of Staff, Internal transformation, COO Office, or strategy roles within private banks and/or top‑tier strategy/management consulting
10–15 years of professional experience
Proven track record delivering in‑house transformation initiatives
Strong exposure to Swiss private banking market and regulatory environment
International experience considered an asset
Education
MBA from a leading business school
Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent
Languages
Fluent English (mandatory)
French and/or German (strongly preferred)
