We are seeking a professional to join our Investment Banking team in Munich to contribute to Goldman Sachs\‘ success.
The Cross Markets Group focuses on expanding coverage of corporate clients, sponsor portfolio companies, and middle-market financial sponsors across all industries, providing M&A, financing, and other corporate finance solutions using dedicated resources.
Role Responsibilities
Our Associates develop and strengthen client relationships, participate in advisory teams, and structure and execute financial transactions. Responsibilities include creating financial models, preparing client presentations, managing transaction processes, and assisting in structuring deals. They gain exposure to various business areas and develop analytical, communication, and marketing skills.
Associates perform company valuation analyses, participate in M&A transactions, and support fixed income and equity issuances. They prepare presentations on industry trends, assess client situations, and recommend strategies. They coordinate with tax advisors, attorneys, and bankers, lead due diligence, and participate in legal negotiations. They maintain client communication and help structure transactions, playing a vital role in Goldman Sachs\‘ investment banking team.
Skills & Experience We\’re Looking For
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of investment banking or equivalent experience.
- Outstanding academic and professional achievement.
- Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively across groups and regions.
