The Calibrations Coordinator/Manager is responsible for overseeing the calibration and maintenance of laboratory and manufacturing equipment to ensure operational accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee calibration activities for critical equipment and instruments.
- Maintain calibration records and certificates to comply with regulatory standards (e.g., GMP).
- Coordinate with external vendors for specialized calibration services.
- Investigate calibration failures and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Train staff on proper equipment handling and calibration processes.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Instrumentation, or relevant technical field.
- 7+ years’ experience managing calibration programs in pharmaceuticals or a similar regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of calibration techniques, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in computer-based calibration management systems.
