As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you combine technical expertise with strong sales acumen. Working closely with the sales team, you guide customers from their initial technical inquiry through to a successful deal closure. Location: Steyr or Munich Working model: Hybrid Full-time Salary: €58,000 gross per year (depending on qualifications and experience; we are willing to pay above market rate + variable component) Technical support throughout the sales process, from discovery to successful closure Analysis of POS, cash register, and system architectures, as well as the development of appropriate solution scenarios Conducting technical workshops, demonstrations, and proofs of concept Technical processing of RFIs, RFPs, and security and compliance questionnaires Feasibility and Cost Estimates for Proposals Clear explanation of regulatory requirements such as KassenSichV/TSE, RKSV, Verifactu, or TicketBAI Structured handover of closed deals to our consulting team Completed IT training or comparable practical technical experience At least 3 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, technical sales, or a customer-facing technical role A solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML, Windows/Linux, networks, and databases A talented communicator who enjoys interacting with customers, giving presentations, and technical sales A strong focus on customers and teamwork, as well as a highly structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to work Business-level German and fluent English Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% within Europe Work-life balance
