Database Administrator Oracle (m/f/d)

Our DevOps team is made up of different characters with diverse skills. Together, we are expanding our infrastructure, ensuring that our in-house software solution for the energy industry runs smoothly and that the software developers have a high-performance continuous integration pipeline.

How You Can Support Us

• You maintain and administer our databases (Oracle RDBMS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MariaDB).
• You plan and document our company\’s database infrastructure.
• You look after and support the users.
• You design and administer data backup solutions.
• You analyze and solve database-related problems and monitor database performance to identify potential risks to production at an early stage.

What You Need For This

• You have a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification.
• You speak English at C1 level.
• You have experience as an Oracle database administrator (operation, monitoring, administration, optimization, backup & recovery).
• You are familiar with high availability, replication, and performance tuning.
• You have advanced knowledge of the Linux operating system.
• You are characterized by a structured way of working and an analytical approach to your tasks.
• You actively educate yourself to maintain and expand your knowledge of current trends and standards in database technologies.
• You are open to flexible working hours (on-call duty, covering service times).
• You don\’t run away from challenges. If you see problems, you tackle them independently.
