Join our new Customer Enablement team in Munich and play a key role in helping EGYM expand its localization efforts globally together with technical and eLearning content managers, as well as internal stakeholders such as product managers, product designers and marketing.

• Strategy Development : You define and implement a company-wide localization strategy, ensuring alignment across departments, that enables a diverse audience of gym operators, trainers, and end users to make the most of the EGYM product ecosystem.
• Localization Tools : You oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of localization tools (TMS, translation memory, terminology management, machine translation engines, etc).
• Process Optimization : You design and implement efficient and scalable end-to-end localization frameworks for multiple products and diverse content types.
• Best Practices : You develop best practices, standards, and policies for global localization processes, tools, and workflows.
• Vendor Management : You manage relationships with localization vendors and optimize vendor management processes, including cost control, performance tracking, and contract negotiations.
• Quality Assurance : You establish and maintain quality assurance frameworks to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations.
• Project Management : You support localization project management for the Customer Enablement team using our translation management tool as well as for communication with vendors and reviewers.

Your fitness level

• Experience : You bring 5+ years of experience in localization operations, localization program management, or a related field.
• Technical Expertise : You have a strong understanding of localization platforms, workflows, translation management systems (TMS) (such as Phrase, Lokalise), automation tools as well as relevant tools such as Figma, GitHub, etc.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : You work effectively with engineering, product, content creators, and marketing teams to optimize localization strategies.
• Agile Mindset : You thrive in an agile environment and are experienced in using tools like Notion, JIRA, and Confluence to collaborate efficiently with product managers and cross-functional teams.
• Proactive Approach : You are highly motivated, results-driven, and eager to make an impact on the future of the fitness and health industry.
• Problem-Solving Skills : You have proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Communication Skills : You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in multiple languages being a plus.
• Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with machine translation (MT), AI localization tools, and QA automation is an advantage.

Your training goal for your first 6 months

• Onboarding : You are fully onboarded on EGYM’s tooling for content and product localization, independently driving and contributing to EGYM’s localization strategy.
• Product Understanding : You acquire a deep understanding of EGYM\’s architecture and the role of localization within it.
• Team Integration : You are fully integrated into our agile, cross-functional team structure and have built strong relationships with key stakeholders from Product, Software and Hardware Engineering, Product Marketing, and Technical Content Management.
• Localization Process : You implemented an E2E process for localization at EGYM which includes product and document localization.
