Faced with the challenges of climate change and the transition to a decentralised energy system, EHG seeks to provide high performance and cost-effective fuel cell solutions to our clients and partners. /ppTo help achieve our vision of a decarbonised future we are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop the cell and stack architecture at the heart of our compact, high power density fuel cell products. /ph3Key Responsibilities: /h3ullipDesign/conceptualise fuel cell stack components such end plates, compression and clamping hardware /p /lilipProduce 3D models, detailed drawings and tolerancing (GDT) with stack tolerance analysis /p /lilipApply design-for-manufacture and design-for-assembly principles to stack components /p /lilipSupport prototyping, stack build, leak and performance testing /p /lilipWork coordination between RD and production team /p /lilipWork with various suppliers for component orders /p /lilipMaintain BOMs, work with PDM and engineering changes in PLM /p /li /ulh3Skills and Experience Required: /h3ullipBSc/MSc in mechanical engineering is mandatory /p /lilipMinimum 4-5 years of mechanical design experience in an engineering hardware business; fuel cells or electrolysers an advantage /p /lilipProficiency with 3D CAD (ex. SolidWorks) and in-depth understanding of GDT /p /lilipUnderstanding of DFM/DFA and of thin-metal forming, coating, laser welding and joining processes /p /lilipIn-depth understanding of thermofluidic and aspects related to fuel cells /p /lilipAble to own a design end-to-end while working closely with team members /p /lilipKnowledge of sealing design, flow distribution, contact pressure or materials corrosion is a plus /p /lilipTeam player able to work autonomously with internal and external experts /p /lilipExcellent spoken and written English is mandatory; French/German is a plus /p /li /ulpbStart date: Immediately /b /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
