Everything we do is based on our values of excellence, family and learning, and we are committed to bringing them to life in tangible ways for our employees.

The Tech Solutions Department at EHL is responsible for the development, management, and optimization of digital tools and technology platforms. It ensures system performance, data security, and the integration of new technologies to support both academic and administrative activities. The team works closely with various departments to design tailored solutions that meet users' needs. Through its efforts, Tech Solutions drives innovation, enhances operational efficiency, and delivers a seamless digital experience across the institution.

To join our amazing team, we are looking for a candidate who is not only skilled and passionate about hospitality but also aligns with our leadership principles: transparency, accountability, collaboration, care, and experimentation.

The Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer is responsible for maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of EHL's hybrid IT infrastructure, managing servers, virtualization, storage, backup solutions, and core platform services while supporting the organization’s ongoing migration to Microsoft Azure. Working within an established IT team alongside a Cloud Engineer and specialized external partners, the role combines hands-on operational responsibilities with platform ownership, including troubleshooting issues, coordinating technical experts, evaluating proposed solutions, and ensuring that critical knowledge and decision-making remain within EHL. As a permanent position, it will also play a key role in the upcoming hardware renewal program and help define EHL's future infrastructure strategy, with a strong long-term focus on cloud technologies.

What will you do?

  • Operate and maintain servers, virtualisation, storage, backup and core infrastructure services, ensuring availability, performance and security.
  • Operate Azure workloads and the campus-to-cloud link with the Cloud Engineer and partners; progressively deepen optimisation and monitoring capabilities.
  • Own core Entra administration, groups, roles, MFA, Conditional Access and authentication troubleshooting; progressively develop SSO/SCIM, onboarding and PIM expertise.
  • Contribute to AKS operations and deployment preparation for new applications, developing toward greater administrative autonomy.
  • Assess, plan, migrate, test and decommission remaining on-premise workloads as they move to the cloud.
  • Shape requirements, options, sizing, proofs of concept and recommendations during the upcoming 12-18-month renewal.
  • Coordinate and challenge specialist infrastructure, cloud and network partners, follow delivery and internalise critical knowledge and documentation.
  • Apply patching, hardening, access, backup and disaster recovery practices, and support level-3 incidents and problems.
  • Automate recurring tasks with PowerShell and, progressively, infrastructure as code; maintain documentation and share knowledge.

Who are you ?

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Azure (AZ-104, AZ-305), virtualization, storage, or security certifications are considered a strong asset.
  • You have strong experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments, including virtualisation, Windows Server, storage, backup and recovery solutions.
  • You have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and a proven track record in on-premise-to-cloud migration projects.
  • You have solid knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, including group and role management, MFA, Conditional Access, and authentication troubleshooting.
  • You have a strong understanding of networking and cybersecurity fundamentals, with the ability to assess risks and identify the right technical expertise when needed.
  • You have experience with PowerShell scripting, infrastructure automation, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation.
  • You are able to collaborate effectively with the Cloud Architect, Network Engineer, and the wider IT team to deliver reliable infrastructure services.
  • You are an excellent communicator, capable of explaining technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have a strong sense of ownership and autonomy, with the confidence to coordinate, guide, and challenge external partners and service providers.
  • You have a solid foundation in Identity & Access Management (IAM), including SSO, SCIM, PIM, and application onboarding.
  • You are proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable driving infrastructure modernisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You are fluent in English and French (C1).

What we offer?

We offer you a permanent contract within a business area of an educational institution, with exceptional employee benefits including free meals, an attractive number of days off, a parking space or public transport contribution, as well as access to various services and facilities.

We offer you responsibility, challenge, development opportunities and encouragement to help you achieve your professional and personal goals.

We offer you the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our students', staff and partners' experience as well as contribute to the growth of our institution.

You will enjoy being part of a passionate, multidisciplinary and talented team.
