Senior Software PLC Engineer Beckhoff TwinCAT

Join our team at ekvip automation GmbH, a company specializing in software development for mechanical engineering, control programming of industrial systems, application development, and robotics, including worldwide commissioning of industrial machines.

We are looking for a Senior Software PLC Engineer Beckhoff TwinCAT to:

• Design and program control systems for industrial units using TwinCAT / CODESYS
• Coordinate program-technical commissioning on-site, remotely, or internationally
• Further develop and optimize existing production software
• Create technical documentation for systems and processes
• Collaborate with project management and technical teams to ensure project success
• Mentor and support less experienced team members
• Enhance code quality and maintainability

Your profile:

• At least 7 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in software design, programming, and commissioning of production systems or machines across various industries (hardware, PLC, HMI)
• Profound knowledge of PLC programming according to IEC61131-3 ST/SFC with TwinCAT and/or CODESYS
• Confident handling of various fieldbus protocols
• Experience with external devices and safety engineering
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 100%)
• Proficiency in English (C1); German skills are a plus
