Flight Supervisor (Traffic Officer) – EL AL Israel Airlines
Based at Zurich International Airport (ZRH)

DESCRIPTION
EL AL Israel Airlines is looking for a Flight Supervisor based at Zurich Airport (ZRH) to join our small, friendly, and dedicated team, to manage flight operations at Zurich and Geneva airport. Reporting to the Station Manager, the purpose of the role is to supervise all ground handling and passenger service operations rendered to EL AL by the airport and handling agents in accordance with company and ground operations procedures and policies. Previous aviation knowledge and experience is a must; this role is ideal for a candidate who is flexible and professional, and desires a career in ground operations. A positive customer service-oriented approach and great ability to resolve problems are mandatory to succeed in this diverse and exciting role.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
• Ensure the highest standard of passenger service level is maintained at all times
• Resolve complex issues promptly and professionally
• Handle incapacitated and reduced mobility passengers with exceptional sensitivity

OPERATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS
• Ensure full cooperation with Operational Control Centre and Ground Operations
• Exchange information with flight and cabin crew
• Supply handling agents with all necessary instructions/information to guarantee proper handling of EL AL flights according to company procedures
• Coordinate with other departments

RAMP ACTIVITIES
• Ensure full compliance with loading procedures for all aircraft including cargo
• Ensure sufficient staff availability and performance by all service providers
• Identify and report safety incidents

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
• Conduct preflight preparations
• Perform post flight reporting
• Handle crew bookings including accommodation and transport
• General administrative and ad-hoc duties

REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in ground handling activities
• Highly service-oriented attitude
• Ability to work in accordance with company policies
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Willingness to work shifts and weekends
• Good PC skills

Job Location: Based at Zurich Airport with duty time at Geneva Airport
Required Experience: Aviation: 2 years
Work Location: In person
Language: Fluent speaking and writing in English and German. Hebrew is an advantage.
