Your Apprenticeship at ELA
Our IT team consists of about 50 colleagues who work together on exciting IT projects. During your three-year apprenticeship, you’ll get to know various areas of our IT department—including:
IT Help Desk, IT Data & Integration Management, and Enterprise Architecture Management. You’ll work closely with the teams from Controlling and Process Management and learn how data helps improve business processes.
What you’ll learn with us:
During your apprenticeship, you’ll gradually develop an understanding of how data and digital processes interact within a company. Among other things, you’ll learn to:
- Collect, prepare, and analyze data
- Analyze and optimize business processes
- Understanding and further developing digital workflows
- Working with modern analysis and evaluation tools
- Developing solutions in collaboration with various departments
- Contributing to exciting digital transformation projects
What You Bring to the Team
- Secondary school leaving certificate or university entrance qualification
- Good performance in mathematics, German and English
- Very good PC skills and interest in new information technologies
- Interest in and understanding of (IT) technical and business processes and interrelationships
- Ability to communicate and work in a team
- Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English

How You can apply
Information on the application process
- If you apply for an apprenticeship or dual study programme with us, you will receive feedback from us by email in the month of your application, at the latest within four weeks. This will inform you whether we will invite you to an initial personal meeting.
- This meeting usually takes the form of a one-to-one interview at our head office in Haren (Ems). You will also receive more detailed information about training at ELA.
