Your apprenticeship at ELA
During your 3-year apprenticeship, you’ll rotate to a new department about every three months. This will allow you to get to know many different areas of our company and discover which one best suits your interests and strengths.
Along the way, you’ll gain insights into areas such as:
Purchasing, production, sales, bookkeeping, and accounting
What You’ll Learn with Us
During your apprenticeship, you’ll learn step by step how the business processes of an internationally active company work.
Among other things, you can expect to:
- Prepare quotes and process orders
- Managing suppliers and customers
- Preparing orders and organizing purchases
- Learning about and supporting production processes
- Reviewing and processing invoices
- Working with modern Office applications and business software
- Collaborating with various teams on exciting projects
What You Bring to the Team
- Secondary school leaving certificate or university entrance qualification
- Good performance in mathematics, German and English
- Economic thinking and careful work
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English

How You can apply
Information on the application process
- If you apply for an apprenticeship or dual study programme with us, you will receive feedback from us by email in the month of your application, at the latest within four weeks. This will inform you whether we will invite you to an initial personal meeting.
- This introductory meeting usually takes place in the form of a group interview at our headquarters in Haren (Ems). There you will also receive more information about training at ELA.
