Therefore, we are currently looking for an IT Security Specialist (m/f/x) for our head office in Haren (Ems) to further develop and expand our IT department and the 5-person IT Security Team. Your Future Role

1. Main contact person for all information security issues in the company
2. Development, implementation and management of an information security management system (ISMS) in accordance with international standards such as ISO/IEC 27001
3. Carrying out risk analyses and assessments to identify security risks and developing measures to minimise them
4. Creation and maintenance of documentation and guidelines on information security
5. Training and sensitising employees with regard to information security
6. Monitoring and continuous improvement of the ISMS

What You Bring to the Team

1. Degree in computer science, IT security or a comparable qualification
2. Sound knowledge in the areas of IT security and risk management
3. Experience in the implementation and operation of an ISMS, ideally with ISO/IEC 27001 certification
4. Certifications in the area of IT security (such as CISSP, CISM, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer) are an advantage
5. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex issues in an understandable way
6. Initiative, a sense of responsibility and an independent way of working
7. Very good written and spoken German and English skills
