The role will bridge the gap between state-of-the-art LLM orchestration and strict pharmaceutical regulatory standards, building systems that automate clinical data cleaning, validation, and analysis. This position offers the opportunity to shape a modern, scalable ecosystem where engineering solutions directly drive GxP-compliant, high-impact clinical decisions. /p h3Tasks Responsibilities: /h3 ul liDesign and deploy sophisticated agentic workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen to automate complex clinical data management tasks. /li liBuild collaboration systems where specialised agents (e.g., Planner, Validator, and Protocol Reviewer) resolve end-to-end data challenges through high-quality, testable code and CI/CD pipelines. /li liApply systematic prompt engineering techniques (including Chain-of-Thought, ReAct, and Reflection) to guarantee high-fidelity outputs in a clinical context. /li liDeploy AI agents into our cloud environment (AWS) while building and enhancing scalable applications that capture, move, and prepare scientific data. /li liPartner with Data Integrity and Quality teams to ensure all agentic decisions are traceable, reproducible, and fully compliant with regulatory standards. /li liCreate reliable "Human-in-the-loop" (HITL) workflows and tool-calling agents to solve complex, highly regulated data challenges. /li /ul h3Must Haves: /h3 ul li5+ years’ experience and a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or Biomedical Informatics, alongside 8+ years of experience delivering AI/ML solutions plus 3+ years in full-stack software and data engineering /li liDeep proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with AI orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or LlamaIndex /li liSolid experience with modern data engineering (SQL/NoSQL, APIs), Vector Databases (e.g., Chroma, Pinecone), and optimizing RAG pipelines /li liStrong experience deploying AI systems on AWS, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, Git, and service observability (logging, tracing, metrics) /li liA strong understanding of model reproducibility, interpretability, and validation best practices within highly regulated environments /li liExcellent problem-solving capabilities with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to diverse global stakeholders /li liFluency in English /li /ul h3Nice to Have: /h3 ul liMaster’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related quantitative field /li liExperience in a highly regulated industry such as Healthcare, FinTech, or Aerospace /li liUnderstanding / Showcasing practical, end-to-end implementation of security frameworks in complex agentic workflows /li liUnderstanding of clinical trial life cycles and data standards /li liFamiliarity with monitoring tools for system performance, workflow analytics, and MLOps/DevOps best practices /li liContributions to open-source agentic frameworks or internal AI tooling in the automation or productivity space /li liExperience to architect scalable solutions in complex environments with multiple existing system integrations /li liExperience with other programming languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, R, RShiny) is considered an advantage /li liSharing your GitHub account, showcasing relevant work, is considered an advantage /li /ul h3What you will be offered: /h3 ul liAn opportunity to work in one of the world's most important pharmaceutical companies /li liModern campus with plenty of green spaces and meeting areas /li liCentral location in Basel /li liVaried job profile /li liFurther training opportunities through temptraining /li liWorking in a dynamic and motivated team /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
