Senior Product Manager (XDR) - Security Solutions in Bern

Overview As Senior Product Manager for Elastic XDR, you shape a core area of the XDR roadmap from requirements to shipped features. You will align with Elastic Security, collaborate with Engineering and Security Labs, and ensure the product works across cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments. You drive telemetry, integrations, and exposure and vulnerability management to deliver high-impact detection and response capabilities. This role combines customer-facing leadership with hands-on product ownership in a fast-moving security space. Leistungen / Benefits Competitive pay Health coverage for you and family Flexible locations and schedules Generous vacation days Charitable donation matching up to $2000 Volunteer hours (up to 40 per year) Verantwortungsbereiche Own a core area of the XDR roadmap end to end, driving detection, correlation, incident building, and response across endpoints, cloud, identity, and network Expand and maintain telemetry and integrations from Elastic data and third-party sources to support cross-environment correlation Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management with prioritization based on exploitability and remediation workflows Translate customer input and threat research from Elastic Security Labs into concrete product requirements Represent product in customer conversations, especially with senior security stakeholders, feeding learnings back into the roadmap Ensure capabilities work across deployment models (cloud, on-premises, air-gapped) including regulated environments Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape and GTM strategies; create artifacts like roadmaps and memos for visibility Write requirements that can be acted on without extra clarification meetings Zentrale Anforderungen At least 5 years in security-related technical product management, competitive analysis, or technical marketing Minimum 3 years in product development or a related technical field Hands-on knowledge of XDR/EDR/SIEM and incident response, with credibility in detection and response engineering Experience with telemetry and integrating heterogeneous data sources Strong analytics and threat understanding, with familiarity of AI security concepts a plus Technical credibility to discuss architecture and feasibility with engineering Comfortable with customer-facing conversations at senior levels Excellent communication and ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Proficiency with AI-augmented workflows and a cross-functional, remote-first environment BS or MS in engineering, computer science, or information security Strong communication and storytelling to technical and executive audiences Cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success Customer-facing confidence and ability to represent product in senior conversations XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response knowledge Telemetry and integration breadth with third-party data sources Analytics techniques for detection and prioritization
