Overview
In this role you lead hands-on delivery of Elastic Security projects, from discovery to architecture and build, collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams. You translate customer goals into technical designs and drive secure, scalable deployments across SIEM, EDR, and cloud security. You’ll shape security strategy, enable detection content, and foster customer success through trusted advisory and hands-on delivery. The role combines architecture, implementation, and ongoing enablement in a remote-first, client-facing setting.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Analyze customer goals, pain points, and threat landscape to set technical requirements
- Design Elastic Security architectures (SIEM, endpoint, cloud security) aligned with customer ecosystems
- Lead end-to-end delivery of security projects, including greenfield deployments and migrations from legacy platforms
- Deploy and harden the Elastic platform for enterprise/government environments (RBAC, SSO, private connectivity)
- Architect and build large-scale data ingestion (Elastic Agent, Beats, Logstash) with sources like Kafka, Azure Event Hub, AWS S3
- Develop threat-aligned security content: rules, dashboards, alerts
- Drive migrations from competing platforms and translate use cases into optimal implementations
- Establish detection-as-code practices with Python, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Leverage Elastic AI capabilities to accelerate detection and response
- Identify new security use cases and ensure on-time delivery within SOW
- Communicate with stakeholders from SOC to C-suite and collaborate with Sales/pre-sales
- Provide feedback to Engineering/Product/Support for feature enhancements
- Mentor colleagues and lead demos/enablement sessions to empower customers
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Minimum 5 years in consulting architecture, senior consulting, or security-focused senior IT leadership with professional services experience
- Experience deploying Elastic Security or comparable SIEM/EDR platforms (e.g., Splunk, MS Sentinel, QRadar; CrowdStrike, MS Defender)
- Strong understanding of security ecosystem across SOC: SOAR, vulnerability management, ticketing, security policies
- Proficiency in Python scripting; familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows, on-prem and/or cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Excellent customer advocacy, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Eligibility for national security clearance (sponsorship may be available)
- Willingness to travel up to 60% and work onsite as needed, with remote work otherwise
