To complete the kitchen team of an establishment in Geneva, we are looking for a: Restaurant Manager / Head Chef at 100% We offer you the opportunity to join the leader in collective catering in Switzerland, providing attractive working conditions for its employees as well as advantageous social benefits.
Your role: In this role, you will independently manage a restaurant serving around 60 guests per day.
You will ensure the creation of a varied, balanced, delicious culinary offer tailored to the expectations of the guests.
Attentive to your clients, you maintain a close relationship with them and ensure a personalised and high-quality service.
You demonstrate creativity and adaptability to develop the services offered.
You work closely with a cook who covers for you during your absences.
As the manager, you organise and supervise their activity with a caring management approach, promoting collaboration, autonomy, and versatility.
You also handle the administrative and financial management of the restaurant, including monitoring purchases, orders, inventories, budgets, and costs.
You ensure resource optimisation while guaranteeing the quality of products and services.
Finally, you are responsible for compliance with hygiene and food safety standards as well as the organisation, cleanliness, and proper maintenance of the premises, equipment, and tools.
Your profile: Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a cook or an equivalent qualification, you have proven experience in a similar role, ideally gained in collective or traditional catering.
You have excellent command of purchasing, cost, and stock management and are comfortable with the various administrative tasks related to running a restaurant.
A caring manager, you know how to support and empower your team while actively participating in production and service.
Flexible and versatile, you appreciate small-scale environments and can quickly adapt to the needs of the establishment and its guests.
You stand out for your rigour, organisational skills, and excellent sense of service.
Creative and proactive, you enjoy offering delicious and original culinary services.
Excellent command of French is essential for this role.
Additional information: Continuous hours from Monday to Friday.
