What you do
- You will prepare and conduct court hearings in employment law matters.
- You provide legal support for HR projects, management, HR and supervisors in labor law issues and employment-related topics across the employee lifecycle.
- You deal with collective labor law issues and work closely with HR management to ensure labor relations strategies and compliance with legal requirements.
- You support projects such as the negotiation and drafting of works agreements in cooperation with the works council.
- You are responsible for establishing processes with the works council and the respective committees and ensure that these are legally compliant and aligned with company objectives.
- You keep an eye on changes in employment law and works council practice and advise us on necessary adjustments to policies and practices.
- You support the training of the HR department and management regarding relations with the works council and changes in employment and law.
What you bring
- You have a degree in law with at least a state examination or a comparable qualification, ideally with additional qualifications or certifications in HR management or employment law.
- You already have several years of professional experience in German labor law, including experience working with works councils, ideally in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- You have strong negotiation and mediation skills with experience in reaching agreements.
- You are a team player with a process-oriented and structured way of working.
- Your fluency in German and strong command of English complete your profile.
