Our client seeks an engineer who will translate business problems into engineering solutions. You will contribute to the development and deployment of new and existing products, write high-quality code to move solutions into production, and participate in code reviews and paired-programming sessions. You will use engineering creativity to own and drive product decisions as a core part of the product team.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $70.00 to $100.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into engineering solutions and high-quality production code.
• Contribute to development and deployment of new and existing products.
• Participate in code reviews and paired-programming sessions.
• Own and influence product decisions as a core member of the product team.

Experience Requirements

• Experience with Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Experience with data and platform tooling such as Kedro, Databricks, MySQL, and Postgres.
• Experience with cloud and infrastructure tools such as AWS, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Advocacy for using the right technology for the task and staying current with relevant technologies.
• Preference for iterative change, experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborative approach with the ability to listen and learn from colleagues.
• Demonstrated enthusiasm and the ability to share knowledge with others.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
