Our client is a leading cutting tools trading company that specializes in providing high-quality cutting tools and machine tools to manufacturers across various industries. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. This is a remote-based position, and the candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities in Penang and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the companyâs customer base within the assigned territory.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers and develop new business opportunities by identifying and engaging potential clients.
- Product Promotion: Propose and demonstrate the companyâs cutting tools and machine tools to manufacturers, ensuring that the products meet the clientsâ specific needs and applications.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and provide feedback to the management team for continuous improvement.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasts, progress against targets, and market insights, and present them to the management team.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and product training to clients, addressing any inquiries or issues they may have regarding the companyâs products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal sales team, marketing team, and other relevant departments to ensure the seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelorâs degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the cutting tools, machine tools, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of cutting tools and machine tools, with the ability to demonstrate and explain product features to clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7,000.00 â RM8,000.00 per month
