Our client is a leading cutting tools trading company that specializes in providing high-quality cutting tools and machine tools to manufacturers across various industries. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. This is a remote-based position, and the candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities in Penang and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the company’s customer base within the assigned territory.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers and develop new business opportunities by identifying and engaging potential clients.
  3. Product Promotion: Propose and demonstrate the company’s cutting tools and machine tools to manufacturers, ensuring that the products meet the clients‘ specific needs and applications.
  4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and provide feedback to the management team for continuous improvement.
  5. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasts, progress against targets, and market insights, and present them to the management team.
  6. Technical Support: Provide technical support and product training to clients, addressing any inquiries or issues they may have regarding the company’s products.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with the internal sales team, marketing team, and other relevant departments to ensure the seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the cutting tools, machine tools, or manufacturing industry.
  3. Strong understanding of cutting tools and machine tools, with the ability to demonstrate and explain product features to clients.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  6. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  7. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 – RM8,000.00 per month
