AI Engineer (all genders)

Your tasks

In this role, you will contribute to the development of our SaaS LLM evaluation and optimization platform, datasets, AI model training and MLOps architecture, ensuring the efficient training and deployment of software and models in diverse environments, both cloud-based and on-premise. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing a state-of-the-art SaaS platform for automated LLM Workflow evaluation and optimization.
• Engaging in the creation and evaluation of high-quality datasets tailored for LLM evaluation & training, including adapting datasets for domain-specific tasks, and building models and benchmarks to evaluate results at scale.
• Gaining proficiency with a tech stack focused on Python, Typescript and various OSS libraries.
• Demonstrating flexibility by contributing to various engineering and product development tasks, enhancing your full-stack development skills in the process.
• Optional for candidates with a stronger research focus: Contribute to State-of-the-Art OpenSource/Research projects centering around LLM pre- and post-training.

Your profile

• Whether you’re a fresh graduate or an experienced AI engineer – what matters to us is demonstrated excellence. Career changers or candidates with non-traditional backgrounds are also welcome – just show us that you can deliver outstanding work and have the ambition to grow quickly.
• A strong passion for AI/ML is essential. We are looking for candidates who have engaged in professional or personal projects that showcase a commitment to learning and building in the AI space.
• Proficiency in Python is a must, as it’s central to our technology stack and development work.
• An openness to engaging with the full stack, including a willingness to manually review and evaluate model outputs for significant periods if necessary. This dedication is essential for identifying weaknesses and ensuring the reliability of our models.
• German language skills are important, particularly as we work with clients managing German data.
• We appreciate candidates who are ready to collaborate in-person at our Bremen office, but we also offer hybrid/remote opportunities for the right candidate. An EU working permit is required.
