Ellevo is actively recruiting for 2x Lifting Engineers / Appointed Person to support our project portfolio across Europe.

** Please note this role is open to candidates who hold a European Passport with the right to work in Europe**
- Responsible for lifting and transport activities within the project planning & execution phase.
- Provision of technical consultancy services to the lifting and transport industry.
- Construct safe systems of work by producing lift plans which include Method Statements and Risk Assessments using given information and be able to produce, understand and implement AutoCAD drawings for lifting and transport purposes.
- Production of detailed specification drawings for the planning and design of lifting operations.
- Design and produce studies in relation to mechanical handling solutions.
- Improve quality and efficiency of the planning and management of lifting and transport operations.
- Understand the requirements of legislation, regulations and codes of practice that relate to all types of lifting operations.
- Support Mechanical Completion & Ready For Commission status. (SME for all Lifting activities)
- Manage the construction contractors assuring technical compliance and quality standards are achieved.
- Front line responsibility for contractors HSSE performance, meeting customer’s minimum standards and Compliance with HSE execution plan.
- Participate and carry out constructability reviews.
Skills / Experience:
- Degree qualified with experience within a technical engineering discipline (preferred)
- Experience of working with AutoCAD/Solidworks
- Significant Heavy Lift experience of working in various heavy industry sectors both on/offshore
- Experience of large-scale lift & shift (engineered movement) operations
- Problem solving and creative thinking.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstration of successful participation within international teams
In addition to the list of requirements above, it is also desirable that they have experience in the following:
- Jacking & Skidding Operations
- SPMT Operations
- Swept Path Analysis and Route Planning
- Roll On/Roll Off Operations
- Appointed Person (CPCS Blue Card)
- Experience in heavy lift and transport projects
- Must have the right to work in Europe (European Passport Holder)
