We have an urgent requirement for a German speaking Python Developer / Technical Lead for a hybrid role in Bern.
About the Role
As a Python Developer / Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team in software development while ensuring high-quality standards and effective communication within the team.
Responsibilities
- At least 8 years of professional experience in software development and as a Technical Lead
- Excellent knowledge of Python and modern Python frameworks, especially FastAPI
- Experience with FastStream and event-driven architectures
- Very good knowledge of microservices development and operations
- Solid experience with Apache Kafka
- Several years of experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Very good knowledge of API management as well as REST API design and development
- Experience in creating and evaluating software architectures
- Technical leadership skills and role-model function within an agile development team without disciplinary responsibility
- Demonstrable experience conducting code reviews and establishing development standards
- Experience with Clean Architecture, Clean Code, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and test automation
- Very good knowledge of Git and modern CI/CD processes
- Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum and Kanban
- Ability to communicate architectural decisions clearly and establish them within the team
- Enjoys sharing knowledge and developing team members professionally
- Very good German and good English skills
