Your Job as a Product / System Architect – Automotive Ultrasonic Sensing

As a Product / System Architect for Automotive Ultrasonic Ranging, you will shape the next generation of semiconductor solutions for ultrasonic sensing and near-field perception in next-generation vehicles. Working closely with leading automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers and our R&D teams, you will translate customer, market and technology requirements into innovative system architectures and product concepts. You will act as a key technical interface between customers and Elmos throughout the development process and play an active role in defining future products and solutions. In addition, you will develop application concepts and reference solutions, support technical design reviews and represent Elmos in technical discussions with customers and partners worldwide

You're interested in

  • Defining system and product requirements for next-generation automotive ultrasonic sensing solutions
  • Acting as the technical interface between automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers and Elmos R&D teams
  • Developing system architectures and application concepts and translating them into requirements for future semiconductor products
  • Monitoring and analyzing market, technology and competitor trends and deriving implications for future products
  • Presenting technical solutions to customers, partners and internal stakeholders and building strong relationships with leading automotive manufacturers and suppliers worldwide

Your qualities are

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, engineering, computer science, physics, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in development or product management within the semiconductor industry or at an automotive electronics manufacturer
  • Very good knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design
  • Innovative mindset, strong customer orientation, and the ability to work in international teams
  • Strong technical understanding as well as excellent analytical, abstraction, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in microcontroller programming and hardware PCB design
  • Willingness to travel
  • Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
